I grew up and went to school in Paarl. It's a beautiful town about 40 minutes drive from Cape Town that dates back to the 1600's and is surrounded by picturesque mountains and famous wine farms. I was truly honoured to have an article published about me and my recent accomplishments in the local newspaper last week. Although I moved away about 13 years ago it will always be home. I haven't gotten my hands on a copy of the newspaper yet, but my mom bought about 5 and I will post a scan of the article here soon. Here's a link to the online version in the mean time.
